I have very much grown up in estate agency, involved in the family business, a Property marketing company MovingWorks based in rural Lancashire from the age of 15, working Saturdays and school holidays in the busy property market of the mid 00’s.
I used to love working the weekends, the buzz of negotiating a sale came instinctively and I remember the property market at that time very fondly and returned to the business after University to give financial advice to MovingWorks’ clients.
I was made Sales Director in 2014 and my ambition to see the company evolve further eventually lead to the launch of our online platform love2move In 2017.
love2move works with established high street estate agents to give clients a choice on how they sell their home. Our network has now grown to 29 offices selling properties in Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Worcestershire, London & Devon.
As our network has grown I have been speaking to more and more estate agents nationally and I realise there are some fantastic agents that are happy to share their ideas and I hope this podcast can help agents improve their business, I believe if we aren’t moving forwards we are moving backwards.

9 years ago I didn’t know much about agency. At school, my teachers always told me I talked a lot so I figured I’d be okay at it. These days I’m still learning to shut up.
I’ve been a PA, a salaried agent, paid commission only and built successful businesses in both in Australia and the UK - a career that’s given me some unique insights that I enjoy sharing.
Agency fascinates me. What does it take to help (rather than convince) someone to sell with you? What does it mean to be liked? Trusted? What goes through a person’s mind when they’re making that decision?
I get a genuine kick out of passing on what I’ve learnt along my own journey to help others to achieve success.
